Homepage About Us Celebrating local food

Q: Who are the speakers and can I ask them questions?

Yes, we'd love you to ask questions! Our guest speakers are by invitation. We invite passionate food producers and growers whose produce is local and of high quality.

Our Q&A with each speaker is a relaxed In Conversation style of interview that adds value your dining experience. Guest speakers share knowledge, actionable tips, and their own heartfelt food journeys with you.

We also encourage speakers to offer tastings at our Talk & Taste Tables so you can sample their produce and chat one-on-one with them.

You are welcome to purchase any products they have on display, but we discourage hard-sell promotions to our guests.

Q: Can you cater for special diets?

We can offer vegetarian or GF options. If you have specific requirements please contact us before booking and we’ll do our best to cater for you. Unfortunately, we cannot cater for celiacs.

Our event booking form includes questions about dietary requirements, and we will contact you by email or phone to confirm your choices.

Q: Can I pay by cash or credit card?

We can only accept online bookings and payments via our event booking page.

Q: Can I purchase a Gift Certificate?

For practical reasons we don’t offer Gift Vouchers.

Q: Can I get a refund?

The reason we don’t offer refunds is due to obligations to our host venue. We respect their need to plan and order the correct quantity – and quality – of fresh produce in advance.

Please consider gifting, or reselling your tickets to friends and fellow food lovers.

Q: What is the duration of the event?

Our lunches usually run for 3-3 ˝ hours. We ask guests to arrive on time to enjoy a chance to mingle with other guests.

Q: How many people are at the Long Lunch?

We keep numbers to around 48 guests to ensure the lunch is a personalised and inclusive experience.

Seating is in order of ticket purchase. After pre-lunch drinks, you will be guided to your seats.

Q: What mobility access is there?

Please advise us if you require mobility assistance or special seating or access.

Q: Do I need to bring anything?

Only a sense of fun!

Q: What is your Duty of Care?

We aim to provide a safe, comfortable, and inclusive food experience for you, but please be aware that we are not responsible for or liable to any of the following:
• Any injury or illness
• Dietary reactions due to food allergies
• Any loss or damage to property
